| Pernod Ricard and the argonauten G2 will be walking the same road from now on. Following a two-stage pitch for the priority brand Ballantine’s, the Pernod Ricard team led by Bernhard Eisheuer and François Cambier decided in favour of the multi-channel agency. The argonauten G2 won the team over with their innovative concept and in-depth understanding of the market, and beat off two famous agencies in the final round. This means that the argonauten G2 have now become the German lead agency for the biggest whisky brand in the house of Pernod Ricard in the below-the-line sector. The argonauten G2 are absolutely delighted. "Naturally, being asked to look after a brand like Ballantine’s is a very special challenge", says Elke Pechhold, head of the creative team in Düsseldorf. "We were all bowled over by the fascination of the brand, and I think this was reflected in our ideas and how we put them across, too." Unit Director Oliver Kmoth is also happy that the team won the pitch. The 35-year-old business management graduate joined the argonauten G2 this year from b+d and is now celebrating his arrival with Ballantine’s. |
